Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to love your Lit Living product. If something isn't right, we'll make it right. This policy applies to all purchases made through litliving.co.nz and is in addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Returns: We accept returns for faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent items only. 

If your product arrives damaged, develops a fault, or we've sent the wrong item, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and returned in original packaging with all accessories and documentation included. Proof of purchase is required.

Return shipping costs: Faulty or damaged product - Lit Living will cover return shipping or arrange collection at no charge.

Wrong item received - Lit Living will cover return shipping and resend the correct item promptly.

How to return 

  1. Email hello@litliving.co.nz with your order number, description of the issue, and photos where possible. Do not send items back without prior authorisation.
  2. We'll confirm eligibility and provide a return address within 2 business days.
  3. Repack the item in its original packaging including all accessories and documentation.
  4. Ship with a tracked courier and share the tracking number with us.
  5. Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.

Refunds: Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the return. Shipping charges are refunded in full for faulty or incorrect items.

Faulty or damaged products: Under the Consumer Guarantees Act you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where a product fails to meet acceptable quality standards. Email hello@litliving.co.nz with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where possible. We'll respond within 2 business days.
